Welcome to SEON’s brain, the Scoring Engine. Here, you’ll find a collection of rules, machine learning tools and automated decisioning, all of which SEON uses to calculate a fraud score for each user action to see whether you’re facing a fraudster or not. But, what is a fraud score, you may ask? Well, it’s a number assigned to each user action, answering the question: How likely is this person to be a fraudster? Fraud scores are calculated using rules which add or subtract points based on all the information SEON could gather about the user.
